40,000 miles this year alone (not to mention what three kids and a dog do to our back seat), our rig gets used and abused. The Land Cruiser now has over 200,000 miles on it, but hasn’t even flinched. I plan on running it into the ground, so we’ll see what it can do.

Whoa, deja-vu? No. We really were here just 3 weeks ago.

Woke up in Indianapolis to an unseasonably balmy 66F. Temps rose to an incredible 74F, then we drove through the front. One gas stop later it was 44! By the time we stopped in Lincoln NE it was 28. This morning I walked the dog in a noticeably less balmy 17F.

I get the feeling we didn’t just drive through a weather change, we drove through a season.
