Easter Sunday while everyone else in the house was napping Travis and I hit the Smith Rock BMX track.
He's been talking about racing a lot, in his words "because I want a trophy!" We had a storm blowing in so it was a pretty windy day (as you can hear in the video), but we had a great time regardless -- you can hear only a few of his squeals of glee in the video. We only made it all the way around the track once without Daddy's help, so we definitely need some more practice, but if day one at the track is any indication, I think you'll see me at the BMX races again!
Oh and did I mention this was only his third time on the bike without training wheels?! We may have a little ripper on our hands!
